Originally part two of Aging Lines, which was separated into a different song because how different it sounded musically, as well as it's finality wrapping up the themes of the record
On a sidenote: I wanted to make the last line of the EP this kind of lighthearted joke at myself just to contrast the seriousness everywhere else on this record; just be as super overdramatic as I could be.
lyrics
Recalling past lives
Held together by a loose string holding all of us
And what's more
I could never know for sure
The other side of the door
Harbors an empty feeling racing through all of us
A moral road
Ends with a reward
And I have seen the best that I'll get
Looking down on other insects
And just as soon I could be them
Uncertain future
Makes uneasy knots in me
I spun a web to catch all of my dreams
But I'm no good at crafts it seems
